The day after Graham.

Graham Stanton is a remarkable man. It was my privellege to be asked to do a farewell caricature for him to mark his end of 13 years of principal of Youthworks College. I'm only sorry I didn't think of it first. Having worked in the industry for 6 years, Caricatures can seem a bit naff to me. But if done well, I've seen that people enjoy them. I was secretly pleased that Deano welled up when I passed this on to him, not because it makes me proud of what I can do, but because it was a confirmation that when I tried to pour my heart into that picture and communicate to him without words just how treasured and appreciated he is, it might have worked. Words are not my primary skill. So this is what I wish I'd said on Saturday, apart from I and we all love you so dearly, friend: I'm so thankful to Jesus for you Deano. The children and youth in the churches of graduates who turn to Christ will, in God's sovereignty, have you and your great passion to thank for it. PS, I have no idea what Infralapsarianism is, but I figured if anyone would own a book on it, you would.

Thanks for all the support! Here's another. Grateful to the Tyler's for their hilarious child. I'm hoping she will continue to provide me with material for a long time to come.

I really truly heart Dan Decarlo. This is me stuffing around trying to emulate a master.

Kids say the darndest things....

It's been another very long time since I posted. But the plan is to be back for good! Gotta get my drawing on.... So....Here are the first two of what will hopefully be many more comic strips to come. I am a youth and children's minister so I work with kids all week. They say some amazing things! The aim of this strip is to make you laugh but also teach (or remind you of?) a few truths along the way. Its a total newbie idea so feedback is appreciated as I finetune it. Enjoy!
In the light of Grahame's departure. I located this oldie.
